Our capital relationships include (multi-) family offices, pension funds, sovereign wealth, and insurance companies. &Partners was founded by Edwin Hendriksen, its Managing Partner, who previously founded and or held senior leadership positions with Xenia Hotels & Resorts, citizenM Hotels, and WeWork.

Thomas Barr has been a leader in the construction industry for over 30 years. Building his career from the ground up, Tom has brought that hands-on experience into the planning, design and execution of each of his projects. His accomplishments over those years include unique projects, including a one-of-a-kind FedEx vertical distribution center in the heart of Manhattan, the last remodel to the original World Trade Center lobbies and hotel, and the world's tallest modular hotel located in the Bowery, NYC. He has established a solid reputation for his ability to form and lead teams that design and execute timely projects within strict budgets on both the east and west coasts. In 2019, Tom was recognized for his work with the 1st Place Global Best Project Award by ENR for Hospitality Residential.

Mr. Hendriksen started his real estate career, in 2000, with CNL Financial Group, Inc. where he handled acquisitions and project financing for both CNL Hotels & Resorts Inc. and CNL Healthcare Inc., sourcing, negotiating, and closing over $5 billion of hotels, and healthcare real estate investments.
Before starting &Partners, Hendriksen was active as a board and/or founder’s advisor to various startups in and around the real estate industry, including PropTech companies. He also functioned as an Operating Partner for Fireside Investments, also a private, real estate investment sponsor, however, with a broader focus; Hendriksen focused his efforts on their behalf on the hospitality sector.

Jordan is a young, creative, and passionate hospitality professional who has been in the private event space since an early age. During college, he opened his own event production firm that rapidly gained traction from a roster of high-net worth and high profile clients in addition to brands and corporate firms. From an idea to execution, he conceptualizes, plans, and produces over 30 events a year. In addition to owning his own event firm, he has had a variety of experiences in the hospitality space from the creative side, operations, to real estate and finance.
Jordan joins &Partners to use his diverse expertise, creativity, and experience to help our platform with investments and with the development and execution of property level business plans and strategies.
Jordan's previous experiences were at his own firm Wolf Consulting and Advisory Services, Hodges Ward Elliott, and REEF Technology. He currently holds a Bachelor of Science from New York University where he Majored in Real Estate and Minored in Travel, Hospitality, and Tourism Management.

Aleks is a seasoned real estate professional having cultivated domain expertise across all aspects of the business, and worked on ~$2B worth of transactions across most property types. He has helped launched RE investment & development platform, Spaxel, and grow venture-backed operating companies such as Life House and WeWork. Aleks is the co-founder of Cuby Technologies, Inc., a fast growing venture backed construction technology company.
Aleks is joins &Partners as an operating partner using his diverse background across legacy and new operating models and business concepts such as student housing, hospitality, co-working, co-living and prop tech, and he will focus on PE and opco-propco investment opportunities in such areas.
Aleks previous experience includes PE (PNC) and Wall Street (SIG). He holds a MS degrees in business & engineering, and is an advisor to numerous PropTech companies.

Derek Lee is a serial entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience building quantitative systems and tech-enabled operating companies. Being the co-founder of a start-up in the social commerce space, Derek preciously co-founded LG Fairmont (now LGF Compass), an early tech-enabled residential real estate agency with ~$3B in transaction volume, and Howard, a venture-backed real estate operator with a focus on hospitality.
Derek joins &Partners as an operating partner with a focus on PropTech and venture capital investments, in addition to evaluating our portfolio companies and their tech-stack during diligence, and helping them with the same as we help them scale.
Derek is also a mentor for top tier PropTech investor MetaProp, and former Entrepreneur in Residence at Columbia Business School where he earned his MBA.

Ginna Christensen is a certified business and leadership coach focusing on transforming entrepreneurs, managers, and teams into standouts in their field. Drawing on her experiences as a Creative Director, Manager, and Chairwoman of the West Hollywood Design District, Christensen launched her coaching and consulting firm in 2017. Specializing in supporting overwhelmed creative and disruptive professionals, Ginna assists her clients in creating a foundation for their business so that they can make better decisions, become more impactful leaders, and build fully engaged teams.
Ginna helps both the &Partners team with executive coaching directly, and will work with the executive teams of our portfolio companies as we help them scale throughout their growth phase.
